Owing to how Flash reads the dialogue file there are some rules that have to be followed, scripts are checked before they are uploaded:

• HTML mark up will be stripped.
• Only the following punctuation is allowed: commas (,), fullstops (.), exclamation marks (!), and question marks (?).
• Although there is no limit as yet to how long a particular conversation may last, each speaker is limited to 61 characters of text per turn.
• To indicate a change of speaker in the dialogue, one uses a colon with no spaces either side, eg: hello:hello:how are you:fine thanks.
